Why the weird website?

If you're wondering whether this site appears to predate the iPhone, it isn't that old. It looks this way on purpose.

We're a pest control company, not a web marketing company. Our time goes into inspections, treatments, and figuring out why bugs are getting in, and a flashy website wouldn't make us any better at that.

So you won't find carousels, chat popups, or a cookie banner here. We don't run tracking scripts, so there's nothing to ask your permission for. Each page loads fast and tells you what you came for.

We also kind of miss the old web, when it was more open and a lot simpler. A page was a page, and you could read it without anything chasing you around. So we built one like that.

What's under the hood?

Plain HTML and one stylesheet, built with Eleventy and hosted on Cloudflare. The only JavaScript on the whole site stamps the time on the booking form. If you're into this kind of thing too, hi.
