About Pest Tech
Pest Tech is a locally owned pest control company in Chattanooga. We're not a franchise, and most of our customers find us through a neighbor.
Why are we so into bugs?
The bugs are fascinating, but the home is where our real passion is.
A scientist at heart, owner Dan Hekman started Pest Tech in 2015, because the pest control industry was missing a vital mix of real chemical knowledge, devoted customer service, and pricing that made sense. Raised in Michigan, he moved to Chattanooga in 2010 and fell in love with the mountains, the people, and the forests of Tennessee. As Pest Tech continues to grow, he and the rest of the team are incredibly thankful for the people who trust their homes to us.
“I started Pest Tech as a way to have an immediate impact on people’s quality of life. I want their house to feel like a home.”
How do we work?
We look before we treat. We'd rather start with an inspection and explain what we find than quote a price over the phone.
Whenever we can, we fix the reason bugs are getting in, like a gap under a door or a damp crawl space, instead of just treating the bugs. And we'll tell you when something isn't urgent, or when an old treatment is probably still working.
